Downtown Las Vegas has never been more diverse. With the many celebrations and events hosted by some of our convention centers, we are able to bring people of all different ethnicities and backgrounds.
Our goal is to allow everyone to feel welcomed when they enter downtown. We'd also like to create new experiences for people by allowing them to get a taste of other types of ethnicities and cultures. We want to show the community how their different lifestyles can make them come together to become one.
Every year we host many events that are meant to be for everyone to enjoy, no matter your background or color. Our true goal is to bring people from different backgrounds together. Some of these events include:
Diversity Day: This day brings thousands of people from all over the city and or world. People are brought together with thousands of different people with different backgrounds and our goal is to make people meet other people. They can talk, eat, and have fun in our many games hosted by our community. The feedback received last year in 2018 was phenomenal! We received many kind emails saying how that event changed their social life! It brought them joy and excitement and it also gave them new friends from all different backgrounds with the same interests as them! This year's event is set to host July 9th, 2035. No Admission required. We'll see you there!
World Unite Gallery Walk: This event is hosted at the Las Vegas convention center which has recently been revamped to give people the best experience possible. This event's goal is to make people learn about others. We ask people from many different backgrounds to present off their culture and information on where they came from. This information is placed on boards that they themselves make. They are usually painted extravagantly and are decorated thoroughly for people to see. 70 different people are chosen every year to host a board at the event. These people are allowed to bring more people to come and support if wanted to. When the event begins everyone is to walk around all 70 boards and learn about each and every different group of people. Its an awesome way to learn about different cultures! This year's event is held on July 24th, 2035. A $30.00 admission is required for adults and a $15.00 admission is required for children. We look forward to seeing you there!
World Art Expedition: This event is a gathering of dozens of artists around the globe. We look for unique, different, and original artists to show off their work at our expedition. This is a great way to learn about people with different backgrounds, but also about their culture and how that is expressed in their art. Every year artists bring amazing pieces with them from their home country. These pieces really show their passion and love for art, and also shows people how their own culture inspires them. An example of an artist who came last year and is set to come again this year is Justin Maller. He is an Australian freelance illustrator and artist that has been creating digital art for years. He is a very good example of someone that is unique, different, and original, which is reflected on each of his pieces. Each one of his pieces are one of a kind and appeal to all ages. Justin Maller has taken his job as an artist to the fullest extent and is committed to bringing out one piece everyday for 365 days a year. His impressive work has led him back to our event this year. This event is held July 1st, 2035. A $30.00 admission fee is required for adults and a $20.00 admission fee is required for children.
